In addition, the Commission has scheduled an evidentiary hearing beginning at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017, to hear expert witness testimony from Duke Energy Progress, the Public Staff – North Carolina Utilities Commission, and any other parties to the proceeding. That hearing will be held in Commission Hearing Room 2115, Dobbs Building, 430 North Salisbury Street. Customers who cannot attend any of the first five public hearings may testify at the November 20 hearing in Raleigh. Representatives of Duke Energy Progress are required to appear at the November 20 hearing to testify about the proposed rate changes. Representatives of the Public Staff are expected to testify on behalf of consumers, and other parties might testify as well.
