Consumers in North Carolina can gain toll-free access to the Federal Communications (FCC) by calling the FCC's National Call Center at 1-888-CALL FCC (1-888-225-5322).
The toll-free telephone service is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. You can access operator-assisted information on all issues related to telecommunications including broadcasting, cable television, telephone, satellite, microwave, land mobile, and licensing. The Call Center also provides an automated, non-operator assisted service, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Call Center is a full service, electronically interactive center with assistance available in Spanish and also to the hearing impaired through a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TTY). TTY customers can contact the Call Center by dialing 1-888-TELL FCC (1-888-835-5322). The FCC's Office of Public Affairs (202-418-0500) will continue to provide service to members of the news media.
